HLS has supplied the North Bay Regional Health Centre (NBRHC) with linen and laundry services since 2018. As both an acute medical care and mental health facility, it is important we receive dependable linen service that has the ability to work with our unique and diverse patient needs. HLS has been reliable in helping us meet those goals.

The company offers many services and goes beyond to work with our needs. For example, within the first couple of months of our contract, HLS sourced and secured an inventory of XXSmall scrubs to fit the needs of our employees. HLS ensures patient and hospital-owned linen items were laundered, sorted and sent back to our facility with a quick turn-around time.

HLS is very reliable for example, during the Ottawa tornado in September 2018; they worked through their contingency plans to ensure continuity of services. In addition, NBRHC is a long-haul customer over Northern Ontario roads; HLS has been successful in providing us with service six days per week with no delivery time missed due to inclement weather.

The customer service HLS provides is consistent and responsive. We have worked with the same customer service representative for the duration of our contract and she has come to know us and our needs. The customer service representatives respond quickly to our requests and provide follow-up when needed. In addition, the Directors and CEO are always willing to help. It has been a pleasure to work with the HLS team.
